Is there a way to get the icons in system32.dll as big images.. like 256x256 pixels. anyway to get them in jpeg

Try "microangelo"...Its a shareware program that will allow editing, creating and reverse creation of icons. Believe it has a 30 day trial/full version....very easy to use....

I have a program - Icon Extraction 2000 - the best possible. It is free, works on NT-based OS too, and you can save the icons in a couple of formats. If you can find it on the net try it, or if you can't find it send me an e-mail on radu_b@personal.ro and I'll e-mail it to you back (it has ~600k).
