Permissions problem, Please help!

I would be glad if anyone could tell me how to apply default security settings for a whole drive. I formatted drive C and re-installed winxp, but left the old permissions on drive D, which is causing me some problems now. Thanks!...

you gotta go to the advanced security for that drive then take ownership
that should fix you up. I just had to do that with some of the folders that i had things stored on on my old domain cause the accounts didn't exist anymore.
