hello! I installed Ok MS OFFICE 2000 Premium in WinXp but when I want to run Office applications crash all. Word, Excel, Acces etc are opened for few seconds and agter that are closed. I clean with microsoft advice the computer but the same thing. I try to install the Office standard but again don't work. Help me to fix the bug. Thank you !! Cristache

Yes.
I download from microsoft site sp-1 and I want to install the pack but the software attention me I have already installed the sp-1 and I think the OFFICE PREMIUM 2000 have already the sp-1 included. I don;t know where is the problem but I appreciate your help.

office 2k pro installed and runs flawlessly on my xp

Go to [url=office.microsoft.com]office.microsoft.com[/url] and run the update wizard. This will let you see what updates need to be installed. Service Pack 2 may be the solution.

If you used a "pirate"-key during install, Office will crash like you described when upgrading with any SP for Office...
