I picked up a Lite-ON 40x burner today...of course, my folks are giving me crap about it. Sorry my current one is trash (locks up any PC it's in), or I wouldn't have bought a new one. Sheesh.

Also a great step up from my old one 8rx4rw (put it in my wifes pc - she hasn't noticed)

I think the best thing i've done with it is create video cd's.

My old samsung 709 dvd doesn't read cdr's and the only way i can do a vcd is by doing it on a cdrw. The 12x rewrite is briliant.

Haven't tried it yet. The circuit the machine I put it in decided to start crapping out the breaker. The circuit breaker problem has been fixed, so I should be enjoying some speed-demon burning shortly.

well i didn't buy it but I did get a 10,000 rpm SCSI drive yesterday.

Check out that Belkin KVM. Sweet looking thing.

Also the Enermax PSU. Currently have a 530 or 550 forget which but I'm hoping to quiet down my PC.

Also the WAP11's KICK ASS. Finally got my WAP11 talking to my Wireless BEFS (OVER WIRELESS) router a cpuple of days ago. Woohoo!

Anyone got any idea if they're gonna do an AIW version of the 9700, & if so, any clue on when?
