Shutting down and restart problems!

I have a problem with shutting down and restarting my win2000 computer. Does it have to do with my abit be6-2 mobo? It just gets stuck when you shutdown and restarting does the same?

Does anybody know whats wrong?

I have had the same problem on my mobo. I remember it was not working, then it worked, and now it does not work any more. before it would just kida sit there for a split second before shutting off, and shut down. but now it just sits there and when i move the mouse it kinda dissapears adn reapears adn will not shutdown or restart.
