Fragile Allegiance in dosbox, no sound! help!

Hey folks, im aware this is an anceint game but man i loved this and after realising i had thrown my cd out i got hold of a copy and burnt it and the iso to a cd and promptly installed it!
i can get it to run fine graphically wise in dosbox, but i cant get any sound at all, the install/config window claims i have no soundcard.

My systems:
XP
amd x64 3200
1gb mem
ati 1650pro 256
audigy 4 SC

ive tried vdmsound emualtor and it wont run graphics or sound in that.

Its playable but wihtout the sound its lacking the magic, if anyone can help me fix this i'ld be extremely gratefull

Make an empty file on C: called Fragile
Put in Fragile allegiance CD.

Z:\> mount c c:\fragile
Z:\> mount d d:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl -label FA
Z:\> d:
d:\> install

Install the middle option
Setup the sound while you are here. It should be able to auto detect the sound, make sure speakers are on when you test.
Then you watch that stupid star trek video.

d;\> C:
c:\> cd\intrplay\fragile
c:\intrplay\fragile> fragile

After you install once all you need to do is start up and type.
mount c c:\fragile
mount d d:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl -label FA
c:
cd\intrplay\fragile
fragile

This is a better way to make the game run stable.

Setup the sound while you are here. It should be able to auto detect the sound, make sure speakers are on when you test
Fragile allegiance is now installed.
You could play it right now, but it is unstable.

To make it stable, exit Dosbox.
Copy: _INTRO From the CD to c:\fragile
Copy: FRAGILE.ID From the CD to c:\fragile

Go to C:\fragile\intrplay\fragile <or where ever the game is installed> Edit CONFIG.INI file ensure it says SourcePath=D:

Start Dosbox.
Mount C c:\Fragile\
Mount D c:\Fragile\ -t cdrom

Enjoy the game with less problems.
<This may not work with the ripped version of the game.>
Iso version it might tho.

Next time you want to play
mount c c:\fragile
mount d c:\fragile\ -t cdrom
