ATP ToughDrive Camo 4GB and EarthDrive 2GB USB flash drive review @ Elite Bastards - 09/18/08 12:21 PM

Hi everyone,

Evangelising USB flash drives in their own right isn't a hard sell these days, but this in turn leads to an ever greater need for drive manufacturers to differentiate their offerings. To that end, the subject of today's review is a perfect example of this, as we take a look at a couple of flash memory drives from ATP with very different aims beyond their obvious task of storing data - On the one hand, we examine the ruggedised ToughDrive Camo 4GB, and on the other we look at the environmentally friendly EarthDrive 2GB.

"To live up to its EarthDrive name, the drive itself is made of recyclable, biodegradable material in the form of a PLA, or polylactic acid, a polyester that is derived from renewable resources such as corn. To top it off, a portion of profits from sales of this drive will go towards the planting of trees to offset ATP's carbon footprint. If green issues are your thing, then this should all be music to your ears."
