Windows XP power managenent problem - 09/10/02 04:11 PM

[size:18][/size]I have a problem on win XP. When I boot power management works normaly. But after I play a game (e.g. GTA3) or use some programs the hard disks and the monitor dont turn off after 5 minutes anymore (I have set both to 5 minutes). I have 12 prosesses running and no programs.

My sys:
Abit st6 raid
celeron 1.3Ghz
GigaByte GA-GF1280 (Geforce 2 MX) with 30.82 drivers
Creative SB 128
two maxtor 4K040H2 (40GB)
256 MB ram
Samsung SW408 (CD-RW)
2564 3dmarks (2001SE)

Is there a way to track what program or what else is causing this.
Haven't tried SP1 yet.

Any suggestions please. ;(

This is a common issue with overclocked FSB, try using a lower FSB and see if the problem gone.

I haven't tried to overclock the CPU or GPU. FSB is 100.

Any other suggestions?
