Just ordered some high perfromance PC2700 Ram form OCZ. Anyone have experience with them? I've read good things about them.

Pretty much all the reviews say good stuff, but 99.99999999999999% of those who've bought anything OCZ have been mad as hell with the products and service. They have such a bad rep among users that I don't even consider them. I can't stress how much this company is despised. If those who've been pissed off by OCZ came together, I'd imagine they'd be storming Indiana to go torch OCZ head quarters.

Found the company your talking about, I ordered form ocsystem.com
145 bucks for 512 pc2400 cl2,cas2 ram
Re: OCZ Ram - 03/11/0205:04 PM
So it isn't PC2700 eh? That's still a nice price though (not as nice as a couple of months ago, but oh well :)). I got a gig of PC2700 RAM from Mushkin for about $220 a stick, and it works great.
Re: OCZ Ram - 03/11/0205:07 PM
Well i wanted to cl2, cas 2 part hehe and thats a good price for a 512 mb stick

The OCZ product in itself is a good product but the customer support sucks. They run a few web business with different names yet all are the same place. http://www.webuildpcs.com and http://www.abilitycomputers.com are the same place with the same phone numbers. Many more too.

Corsair, Crucial, Mushkin, Kingston.
These companies have earned the trust of the community. Kingston makes some damned good Laptop RAM, and their TinyBGA looks pretty frickin sweet.
