open Source Personal Finance Software! - 11/20/02 08:01 AM

Hi,
Anyone know of a good, simple, free, personal finance program that will install easily ( RPM ) and work well in a KDE 2.2 arena?
Thanks, Richard x)

Thanks for the reply. I had no idea that Gnucash would run in a KDE environment.I assumed that it needed Gnome and I have no Gnome. I`ll try it out. Thanks punkisdead.

You are able to run gnome programs under kde as long as you have the libraries installed, which doesn't take up much space. I usually install them because there are many good gnome programs even though I prefer KDE for a desktop.

Additionally, the folks were looking for finance software for the Linux operating system and this program requires Windows and Excel.
