Can i add services?

i would like to make a file run as a service. This file is devldr32.exe ( from the sblive drivers). I know there is a tool called liveservice around to do that, but it just doesn't work on the latest WDM drivers. So i'd like to know if i can add it manually, cuz everytime i shut down windows devldr gets shut down way sooner and i get a very loud sound out the speakers. This volulme issue was fixed when using liveservice.
