windowsXP & Counter Strike- cant use update or refresh :

i installed windowsXP and the problem is when i go into counter strike, the update & refresh fucntions dont work. It updates servers but doesnt refresh and all severs have ? marks next to them.

Anyone know whats the fix- or problem?
