does mcafee virus scan work in whistler?

I know norton don't work, so i'm asking if mcafee does....if not, is there any other virus scan that works?

AntiVirus = AntiViral Pro
Firewall = At Guard

Norton Antivirus 2000 (and maybe 2001) works fine in Whistler, provided you properly install a patch and follow the directions as indicated:

When Windows 2000 was released I tried McAfee VirusScan with bad results, and then it took many hours to try to uninstall it from my system.
I would not even try to install a McAfee product under Windows XP.
