Is there a simple utility that allows me to install any program as a service.

What i'm doing is writing a program that acts somewhat like 12Ghosts Savelayout, BUT mine will also save window sizes and locations. This would be helpful if you play games in a different resolution as your normal desktop.

ie. i use ICQ and have it on my screen where when i change resolutions (after playing a game) it is transformed into a little box.

Thanks

Ancker Jade

There is a utility called servany.exe that comes with the resource kit. Sounds like thats what your looking for.

firedaemon will do the same thing. You can get it for free, too.
