APG is completely backwards compatible as far as I know. Any AGP card will work in any slot. -bZj

I know this is for content, but the page doesn't display correctly in Firefox 1.0.7. The sections are basically just listed, instead of being arranged as they are under IE6sp2. The content is somewhat busy, but I run across usefil bits here and there. -bZj

Anyone have any input on Windows Activation? As in, there is the method to keep your Actyivation files when you reinstall, and not have to re-ativate. If I backup those files, then install a slipstreamed SP2 in place, will the same WAP files work, or throw a problem, forcing me to reactivate? Any help on the situation is helpful. -bZj

I once ran a 486DX 66MHz for 32days, 16hrs, 38mins, 41sec, running Win95. That was the record - it was still up essentially 24x7, running as a file server. My 250W PSU that went with my P3-500MHz is still running 24x7 (with a shiny 'new' 933MHz CPU). I'd say you're alright. -bZj

Any word on the up speeds? I'm seriously happy with my 3MB down, but the 256k or less up is jsut a hassle, for things like P2P and home servers. -bZj

That's not true. Repeated re-downloads, including refreshed (via shift+F5) tries won't always fix it. This is a pain in the ass bug, and it's been around for too long. -bZj

Your best bet is Partition Magic. Resizing partitions, especially boot partitions is a little troublesome. -bZj

A small word of warning: My firend used dynamic disks, on his RAID setup. He had a separate partition for Windows. Now, he just got a new mobo/CPU/RAM, so he figured, wipe the system partiton, reinstall, and you're good to go. But with dyunamic disks, the partitoin info is kept on the system partiton, so he jsut lost 160GB worth of data. He's been working with a recovery program for a couple days trying to get his data back. Just a warning, -bZj

Just to toss some fuel in there: My friend has a dual Xeon 1.5MHz, with a GF4Ultra, and he says his 1.5GHz Centrino w/GF4 Go is faster in games. Not apples to apples, but possibly useful info. He just moved up to a new P4/Rad9800P system though, so he ain't hurting for raw power. -bZj

I think that modern El Camino would sell well here, though I've never been a fan of the original (excepting the horsepower potential). Off the top of my head, I'd guess the original Goat was a big block, with it's predecassor keeping the small block (I forget the name right now). But today, there's not much need for a big block with SBC putting out 350hp+ from the factory. We'll find out in January, at the unveiling of the C6 Corvette, if GM managed to bump that number to 400hp+. -bZj

I did catch part of that Discovery Ch. show on the reworked T-bird. Awesome looking custom. I was happy to see the T-bird 'go back to its roots' w/RWD/V8, but they could've done better (being a bowtie fan ). At least it's dying/dead - Ford may bring it back in a couple years, à la the GTO & Mach1 (the Mach1's being my favorite blue ovals). I do agree that this new GTO still has some of that patented 'Pontiac Ugly'© to it, but it's the power I'm concerned with! -bZj
