Ok, this is a real *****!!!!!!!!

Are you on NTFS? If not, just boot with a floppy to DOS, and then copy it. If you ARE on NTFS, install WKS in another directory, boot to that, then copy files into the origional install directory. If you do a bare install of WKS, it should take less than 15 minutes. (BTW, I keep a copy of WKS burned onto a CD for just such an emergency. I have a FAT partion that I store data on, and I just copy the winnt dir from the cd to that partition, and viola! Instant second OS.) Hmmmm...also just thinking you could go into CPL\Devices and set your sound card's driver to "Disabled" and reboot. That should open the file up.

    Save yourself the trouble.

I disagree as well. I run NT Server as my primary OS so I can work on a number of projects from time to time. Sure, I lose out on a little bit by not having the fluff of Win9x, but it's nothing I can't live without. I just check here before I buy games, is all. And, I'd lose a lot more than my second processor. I'd lose stability, I'd lose speed, I'd lose the ability to do my work. I multi-boot between 98, NTS, and Linux, and I hardly ever use the other two.
