    Toshiba Satellite A665 laptop problem

    Try the Toshiba site they have something called a Hard Drive Impact Sensor.Possible this is the cause of your problem.A safety feature to save the hard drive in drops or falls.They claim it can be adjusted but I would call them first oldtimer
