I had the same problem with the same error message. I tried the different suggestions except for the one copying to hard drive, (but only cos i couldnt be bothered lol). Before i tried that i decided to try a different CD drive and bingo, my game went on sweet as a nut. It appears it didnt like my new lightscribe dvd drive and prefered my old ancient CD rom! Might be worth trying if all else fails, it worked for me.
