Help With Vista log in Please!!

Can't you select change user. Enter your Computer name then \ for example: MY-PC\Administrator. Login like that?
  7. Seems to me that you need to reinstall your XP installation.
  8. Just add the user in Control Panel. If it doesn't want to add in Control Panel, create a user using Computer Management. Create a user there. It will be in the Control Panel section. Are you on a domain or not?

    Hello!

Hallo, I`m new aswell. Seems this is a nice forum.
  11. Hallo Everyone, It seems that you will be able to help me. I reinstalled Win XP over my current installation. Now, when I start XP, it wants to activate. The problem is I am behind a proxy as I am in a corporate environment. The PC doesn`t have a network card and I want to insert one but Windows wouldn't let me configure it because, directly after login, Windows wants to activate. I know Vista has a Out-Of-Box grace period. Does XP have one? Thank you in advance.
