sorry about that let me update a bit ive been running xp home all the time no updates unless windows auto i have a elitegroup extreme kv2 mb with amd 30000+ win xp home sp2 2 gb ram xfx nvidia gf6800gt 256 mb agp and no sound thanks for any help you can give stu

tell me about it i have had the same problem no sound card tried drivers (didn't work) disabled onboard sound and tried pci sound card (still no sound card) i have 2 effin sound cards now and i cant get sound please help ciderstu
