    right-click on desktop....

check out this other post for all your answers - > http://ntcompatible.com/right-click_menu..._how_do_i_add_a_bunch_of_stuff_to_it_t12697.html im trying to help... djravine
  2. here a link i found might help. Right Click Customize -> http://www.jfitz.com/tips/rclick_custom.html there are these little programs that allows you to customize the context menu... firstly, WinXP Manager - This give you control to add remove parts of the context menu... one of the best i have found so far... doesnt 100% pick up all entries for add->new.. meh.. but i does show multiple entries for the different context menus in the system [eg drives, folders, files]... the other one is Object Desktop - Right Click its not too bad.. but only really plays with desktop context menu skinning and 100% customization... hope it helped not hindered... djravine

Help My Cd Rom Drives Disappeared???

im running winxp sp2, and i had a similar issue... once the installation was complete, the drivers were installed and there were no problems until i rebooted a few times after the initial boot, then all of a sudden, my dvd-rom and cd-rw wernt being picked up by my computer... i went into the control panel and tried to delete the devices, installing new drivers on reboot, to no avail... then i hit the properties of the drive from the device manager, and proceeded to update them live on the system... it worked!!! but im still seeing a few lingering issues, not sure if it to do with the drivers or just winxp sp2 incompatablities... the problem being that... i can burn cd's and what-not from within windows explorer [not 100% practicle for iso's], and i can access all files from the cd/dvd's that i insert... but when i run roxio easy cd/dvd creator 6 'creator classic v6.2.0.111' i have no detected drives available to the burning software bundle... there is a new realse of roxio media creator [v8 is about to be released], which has winxp sp2 and win2k sp4 listed on the v8 specifications... so maybe an update is in order... doh... i need to make more $$$... ok, hope that helped not hindered, djravine... visit me, the D @ NADAsoft.ath.cx:8181...

Win XP SP2 - no sound card detected

if anyone's still out there?!?! i've just done a fresh install with a sp2 xp pro disc and now some devices aren't working... i have the same problem as above, and i've already uninstalled and reinstalled the new drivers but i still nothing but i high pitch whine... no sound... i checked the devices panel and the card is there, and enabled. when i check all the drivers they are fine, no incompatibilites with irq's... but when i try to initialize the onboard sound a message appears saying that i haven't installed a mixer... im really confused... the mixer is installed with the sound card and its in the devices and it's working properly... but why isnt the sound being routed to the card?!?!?!? arg... i've been doing about 2 days research on this and i'm baffled... i've only just flashed my bios.. and its up to date... what am i missing!!! x) here my mobo link -> albatron 865 pe pro (v2.0) thanx, DJRavine :x visit me, the D... @ NADAsoft.ath.cx:8181
