  1. Hi, I have a Creative (Nomad) Muvo64 mp3-player / usb-memory-stick. Mounting it under SuSE 8.0 worked easily, /var/log/messages said something like "/dev/sda1 assigned", when I plugged in the device and mounting was possible. Now, I have recently made a clean install on a new HD with SuSE 8.1, but the device is assigned no scsi device I think. At least I cannot find it. Mounting it blindly to sda0 to sda7 did not work. I am not very familiar with that usb to scsi emulation. Can anyone tell me what I forgot to do ?
