i have tried using the Emergency Repair Disk but it doesn't work. as when i installed win me onto my system it overwrote the boot menu. so i had to use the win2k boot disks to fix the win2k installation. I had a ERD but it did not work (I think it said inconsistencies) and had to let win2k to locate the installation itself - this was dangerous as last time it COULDN'T find the installation. y doesn't my ERD work?
