Whered it go? I clicked the shortcut on the desktop, noticing its icon had changed, then it failed to open it...
and also its missing from the kicker menu... laugh i cant do my usual search or anything without (for it was the only way i knew how to search for files) so I'm a bit on the freeking out side now... some1 help plz frown frown frown frown

The icon on the desktop that used to read just Konsole has changed to konsole.desktop, and when I attemp to run it i get the following error

The desktop entry file
/usr/share/applnk-mdk/Terminals/konsole.desktop has no Type=... entry.

I followed the dirrectory this far
/usr/share/applnk-mdk/
in konqueror, but the Terminal file is missing.... with it the konsole....

The only option is ok,.... and that does nothing.... help?

*edit*
Been looking around, quite a bit of other programs are missing... such as one of the games (not Frozen Bubble.. the other1) Frozen Bubble runs, but then shuts itself, also the Configure Computer or whatever is missing from the Configureation menu... im looking around seeing what else has dissapeared mysteriously, soo yeh....

It is really good you solved this without help! Don't burn yourself out! Work with it awhile, then when it gets frustrating, take a break and do something else. Then you can come back to it with a fresh perspective! Otherwise, you'll start throwing coffee cups through walls and stuff.. wink

I had a great collection of cups with nice slogans printed on them, then I installed Linux for the first time. Now all my coffee cups are made of stainless steel... :x
