Netscape 6.01 freeze

I am running Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 1.
I installed Netscape Communicator 6.01 a few days ago, and periodically experience a 'freeze' with a hundred percent CPU usage when I have more than one Netscape window open.
Usually this seems to happen immediately after selecting a link in an open Web page.
I do not remember having this particular problem ever with Netscape 6.00.
Is this just a bug with Netscape 6.01?
