post you system specs. And your computer and Joe Bob Jim's from down the street aren't the same usually not. So because it works on PC A doesnt mean it will work on PC B

Have you spoken to anyone else who has watched the exact same rip? Odds are its the rip itself. We used to have some Divx rips at work. I remember in particular that happened with a Mission Impossible 2 cam...and it happened there on both computers and here at home, so I'm guessing its rip related. Try getting a different copy.

Divx is nothing more then a hack up ver of MS MPEG-4 Video Codec V3.
So do your self a big favor don't waste your time with it. null

yea, i've noticed hardly any difference with divx and ms mpeg4, i personally think i get a better frame rate when i encode with mpeg4.

hehe, divx is slightly better for dvd rips than microsofts mpeg4...coz m$ mpeg4 is restrected in some ways. well the divx movies that hack up on my computer work fine on other comps....but i think i found the problem in DirectDraw on my machine.

Use Media Player 6.4, it would work smooth.

ive had this problem also, its definetely down to the rip.
