InnoculateIT Personal edition is the best and is free

I also like the freeware edition of AVG anti-virus (http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.cfm). I use the pro version on my personal machines.

Go with the Inoculate IT at www.cheyenne.com Free updates, free software, real-time virus protection and it works great.
