Recycled Bin problem

Hi,

I've got a dual boot system with win2k and winME (upgraded from win98se) and the recycled bin isn't working correctly. If I start with an empty bin and delete something it gets listed in the recycled window but as
soon as I delete something in ME, the recycled bin screws up. Files in the bin vanish or only show in one OS and not in the other, also in 2k filenames get corrupted and show up as a line of little boxes.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
