Ok, a newbie question, so apologies, have to learn sonewhere.
Running win2k with IIS service, no problem setting it up to point to a directory etc, with an IP address.
The question I have, as have a different IP address every time I log, as my ISP cuts me off every 2 hours (0800 number in UK), is there any way that I can have a link on a web site to my ftp site on my computer without having to constantly change the IP address when I get cut off.
I think not, but If I dont ask I dont know.

You can get a virtual static Ip from places like www.dyndns.org www.dhs.org and many more. get Dynsite http://noeld.com/download.htm it will update the IP address for you every time it changes to keep your site valid. you need to create an account wiht a Dynamip IP service first however
Hope this helps
