What is the diff. from Win2k Server....Adv. Server?

Recommended Posts

Yes ... what is the difference?

Cause i installed Server just because I thought there was no OpenGl support in Adv. Server ... but now i find out there is....cause i play the occasional games! Just to see what im missing out of Adv. Server?

Anyone know tell me .... cause i always like the top end ...or the best of the best....and i would think Adv. is better?

Just wondering.....thanks!

More useless junk that can be disabled to make it run like Pro smile

At least, that's what I tend to do with half of it....

adv Ser allows 4 more CPUs, and has more network clustering options and yada yada yada.

Server or Adv. Ser doesn't really matter all that much...you get the majority of the same things.

You just get the privelege of writing "advanced" in front of server :P

Actually, when you boot up, all it says is "Server Family", for what it's worth.
