No sooner had I finished typing the other post when I received a reply from NetworkIce (probably an autoreply but better than nothing) 5 minutes after emailing them. Here is what it said:

Dear Customer,

Engineering and QA are working hard to get out a new version of BlackICE
that will support SP1 ASAP. We were kind of caught off-guard by this
release, since Microsoft originally said they were delaying the release of
SP1 for another month. Thanks for being patient!
