Dear all,
I have been running Windows 2000 for some weeks now, with no problems. But just the other day, my icons all went to 16 / 256 colour icons, although my actual desktop was running at 16 bit colour (high colour).
I tried reinstalling drivers, changing refresh rates and deleteing the icon cache, but still no luck.
Please someone help me!!!!
thanks

Post some of your system specs first to make it easier for the members to try and help.
Things like your video card type, driver version, processor type and speed, motherboard type, bios version, agp setting. Did you recently flash your video bios or do you overclock?

Make sure under Display properties/Plus! you have 'show icons using all possible colors' checked. Then reboot
