Ok, I went against my word and installed the second beta version of DX8 for w2k, purly because I am dying to fix my sticking key problem in Mechwarrior 3 while playing it online under w2k...lol, Anyway.

I installed it by running the setup and everything updated no troubles although it seems not a thing has changed though. I still get dropped keystrokes and sticking keys in the game. Anyone else had similar probs even after updating or have I missed something? This is probably more a question for MS to answer but I thought I would try.

you have to manually install it not use the install file
