Hi Morning ! I actually did this at my office. I need some control of the PCs.Do you have any suggestions so that the users can run the applications program but don't have the right to install/uninstall them under win2k pro ?Coz when I asign the user the "user right "they just simply can't run most of the application progs like adobe, macromedia etc ...
Anyone ? Thanks.

The easiest way is to set up user policies. Are your users logging into a domain?

Ok, I hope this helps you.
I will not post what can be done here, all I suggest is togo to the Start Menu, then Run and type poledit.exe. Go straight to help and find and print out exactly what you want to do. Doing this is critical as you can end up with PC's that will not function correctly if you stuff this up and start adding restrictions you know nothing about.
Good luck :-).
