Is the Gamepad Really Designed for Gaming?

I have been in several situations where a variety of people claim the

gamepad is superior for gaming because that is what it was designed

for. No elaboration or further justification is given. The controller

is designed for gaming and is therefore clearly better. End of Â–

despite often being start to Â– discussion in their minds.

Really it is a compromise between the needs of popular games and the

environment of a couch.

undeserved kills are better than frustration from constant input

failure. Because the controller would otherwise be too frustrating

even the most competitive console title includes aim assist. The game

So why not just take away the gamepad since it is Â“worseÂ” than the

mouse and keyboard?"
