I have win2k pro and my friend has win98. We tried to establish modem connection via dial-in feature in win2k, but :((
Modems get connected, some data exchange occurs (probably, login and password transmitting), but after a few seconds hangup occurs. I tried static and dynamic IP Address, but...
What can it be?

Well not totally related but I have a Diamond Supra express 56i ISA internal modem, windows 2000 recognizes it and installs a 1998 supra driver and lists the modem as a Diamond supra express 56i v90 voice which is corrected but I have many problems with it such as dopped connections right after checking password and windows 2000 not finding the modem even though it is listed and operational. I am assuming that when Diamonds new win2k drivers for my modem come out these problems will cease. actually i have talked to diamond and they said to expect the new drivers anytime now.
