I'm running Win2K final in a Dell Workstation 210.

I have an HP7200i installed, with the latest ASPI drivers (as recommended here) and the latest version of Nero.

Every time I insert a CDR or CDRW into the drive, Nero and "my computer" will freeze, until I hit the eject button, when they will return to normal operation. Basically, I can't do a damn thing, b/c every time I insert a CD to burn, Nero decides to freeze.

I've tried adding the CDR/CD-ROM/CDRW media in the disk administrator, with no success.

What else should I try?

uhhh...scratch that.

I changed the mode from DMA to PIO and it works like a champ now.
