Mylam,

Just a little advice, but don't go with an inferior program just because you run into troubles. While Paint Shop may have mimicked some of the functions PhotoShop has, it is nowhere near as powerful. About the only thing I use Paint Shop for is its browse function, but since I have been using it for a while I've noticed an interesting trend. Each successive version Jasc puts out copies more and more features of Photoshop. Why go with an imitation when you can have the full blown thing?

Did you do a clean install of Win2k? Are you using a cracked or warez version of PS 5.5? Which build of Win2k are you using?

Photoshop cracked, warez and registered worked fine for me : 5.0 and 5.5, english and french, on both dirty and clean install.

Just give us a few tips to help you.
