Well i have RC2 installed and when i setup the Warftp Demond and when i try to initiate the server it gives and error saying that
"Some other service is already using the specified port".

I have this PC on a LAN using a Domain.. and i am connection to the internet with a ISDN line. So.. what service could be posibly using the port?

It happend the same with others ftp servers.

Any suggestions about this?

WarFTPd uses port 21 (of course) and it uses RPC, but that shouldn't matter for the RPC ports are way out in the portlist... Last time I installed warFTPd on a server, it had serv-u (or some other ****, can remember) running and that give us any error at all... this was on NT Server (SBS4.5) and we just set up the server correctly and then we shut down the crap server and up with the good one... about 30 secs. of down time....

Port 21 is the "Well Known" (IANA assigned) port for FTP. It sounds as if you have IIS running FTP services in the background.

Ok.. now i can use port 21 i uninstalled the ftp service, but....

When i load the Warftp Deamon it detects my static ip on the network, not the Internet IP.

Any suggestions about this?

Unless you want to hide your FTP from your internal network it doesn't matter... warFTPd is setup standard (for your convenience) to answer on all nics...
