I have a HP DVD300i. How much system memory do you need to burn DVD? I use K3b program.

How fast is your hard drive, if you burn dvds from iso's etc. then just use a decent hard drive. If you prefer on the fly or dao mode then you might want at least 128 mb or higher (Don't forget to tell k3b to use a big buffer for itself!) and only if you have buffer under run protection on your burner, else you will find yourself surrounded by coasters.
