Game Freezeing

Hi I have reinstalled SOF and Elite Force on a Fresh Copy of Win 2K after ME messed up .
When i try and run either game I get a Black Screen and the PC freezes, The games used to work, just recently they haven't.
I have a Voodoo 3 3500 (Latest BETA Drivers)
SB Live, 230 MB RAM 30 GB Hard Drive, Cable modem and DX8a, with a P3 450 MHz.
Any Help appreciated.

Are you overclocking?

Have you tried other drivers besides the latest beta?

No overclocking I have tried all voodoo 3 3500 drivers I could find.

Use the setting that the game has for 3dfx cards, ususally its Glide or Open GL.

It won't let me get that far, it freezes as soon as the game launches.
