hi,

My church is redoing it's computer system, and we are getting a linux based server. I am completely new to this, and havent a clue whether or not some of this is relevent. Could somone/someones please tell me which or if all of these hardware components are compatible with Red Hat 9.0.
Here is the list. (from monarchcomputer.com)

Motherboard- Gigabyte 7n400pro-2 Nforce2

Processor- AMD Athalon XP 2700

Memory- 2- 256mb DDR(333)2700 Copper OCZ

Hard Drive- 2- SATA Seagate 80 GB Barracuda 7200 RPM

RAID 1

Cd-RW- ASUS CRW-5224A 52*24*52 CD-RW IDE FlextraLink

Floppy- Mitsumi 3.5

Video Card- MSI G4 MX440 T8x 64MB AGP TV-Out

Well I think that is it, Thanks for all of the advice,

Dan

The only thing I would be worried about is SATA drives. I'm a Debian user so I'm not sure what RedHat has done to support these drives. You may want to do some google searches on SATA support in linux.
