My new computer is a Thunderbird 1ghz on a soyo sy-k7vta viak133 board, 128mb ram, and an OEM 32 GeForce2 mx card. My original system was running ME and I had no problem running games with it. I just switched over to 2000 and now my games are running very choppy and the computer even seems to be running slower. I have installed the update from windows, the bios updates, the new GeForce drivers, the AGP updates, and the via updates. I have no other idea of what to do. If I have missed something or if you know how to fix please let me know. I am about ready to throw this thing out the window.

Try heading over to AMD site. They've got a patch for Win2K under T-Birds and Durons. It's really small. I cant remember exactly where it is, but it's associated with the Athlon and Duron procs.
