Had a bad experience buying CD's.
Paid 3x the amount : duties & taxes.
Waited for 3 weeks.
Received useless CD's.
Nowadays I download and do an instant HD install: price 0.00 laugh

I download the iso's and run for a while. If I like the distro, and decide it suits my needs, I think it is important to support them by either buying the boxed set at regular price, or submitting bug reports or both. The meager cost of a boxed set of Linux cd's is well worth the freedom we enjoy.
I still have an unopened box or Red Hat 9 lying around here somewhere...

I agree 100%. But I just paid for SuSu and am not using it. $60 down the drain. So I have to wait untill I can help out the community for a bit. laugh

I'll let you know how my ebay thing goes. I should get them anyday now. I could have d/l them, but I quit Windoze cold turkey and don't know how to burn ISO's in Linux yet.
