I haven't seen the "old version" (unless you had a previous private beta), so its new to me. Aren't you getting mixed up with GLdoom?

This GlDuke isn't playable. Basically you can just get a look at how far along they are. (about 50%).

Doesn't the potential 1'000'000 fps with extreme blurryness, along with perfectly rendended 2D sprites at 2000,1400 res just turn you on????
A bit of EMBM, dynamic lighting, smoke, fog, and detail maps, will do it no bad. (maybe also getting the midi to go via my Yamaha MU100r would be good too! If that works, a few quick hacks at the midi files may be scheduled with a quick visit to cubase VST) Maybe change all those heavy metal tunes and distortion guitars into trance, and techno, with a bit of d'n'b, and some 303's)

Still, there's a long way to go. Need to give lots of positve encouragement to the developers.

Yeah
I really loved that Duke game
Just hope we shall not wait for ever for the sequel.
Come on developpers. I swear I'll buy at least two copies to run on my homelan.
Well ... at least one copy for sure
PS: please do not p*$$ us off with censorship!

yeah duke nukem forever has been in development for how long now like 3-4 years?? By time they get finished with it Duke Nukem will need a wheel chair to just shoot things. By time DNF comes out there will be Doom 10 and Quake 20
