Mechwarrior 2 & Mech2: Mercs

I have tried everything I can think of.

My version of Mechwarrior 2 is only the DOS version. So I need to somehow get the files to convert it to a Windows version. I know their is a Windows version but I don't see why I should buy it since I already have it.....

Mechwarrior 2: Mercs

I installed it and ran the Windows version and it didn't work. It looked like it was changing resolutions. I updated to latest patch and it did the same thing.

Anybody able to get these games to work?
