Ok, I have tried Windows ME and hate it. I have windows 2000 pro. I have tried many games on windows 2000, and all of them have run just fine. My qestion is, how much of a frame rate hit would I get using windows 2000 to play my games, like Grand Prix 3, NHL 2000, Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 and madden 2000?? Anyone have any thoughts on this, oh here are my system specs:
P3 700
256 megs ram
Geforce 2
Asus I815 chipset
Thanks falcon26

It seems that every1 gets slightly different results. I get almoust no fps difference in 2000 compare to 98.
Just ry it, I'm sure if you loose a fr\ew frames but gain stability, you will like 2000.

Don't worry. There are neglegable performance hits. You acutally gain a little performance in business apps/desktop performance with windows 2000.
If you/anyone are undecided between Win2k & WinMe, read here.. Win2k is the best..

once the final of DX 8 is out too you should start seeing w2k out performing ME and 9x. Whistler already does so its only a matter of time before 2k takes over.
