Hello! Is Windows NT 4 workstation and Final Fantasy 8 compatible? I looked on the list and it has Win 2K but not NT4.

If you are readu using NT4, you should have know NT is not for gaming. If you want a NT style OS, try Win 2K, most of new game now are compatible with win 2K without problem.

It seems to me that the thing that makes the biggest difference is what version of DirectX is required. Since NT 4 never made it past DX3, FF8 will most likely not work.
