SP1 did not fix the sticky keys/buttons problem on my machines. Anyone else?

The SP1 fix list has an item stating that a problem with mouse buttons sticking during fps games was fixed. The DLL they modified was dinput.dll.

I opened an incident with MS support and was told that they could reproduce the problem and would notify the SP1 team that it still exists..... oh well... back to 98.

I've no problems with Sticky Keys anymore since the SP1 update went onto the machine.
Just verify that ALL the shortcut options are still DISABLED in the "settings" sections for this feature and it should be OK.

Also try checking the two options in the "Administrative" section under the "General" tab.

Regards,

Kaiser

Yes my sticky keys problem seems to have gone away with SP1. At least AvP doesn't stick any more, I haven't tested "Rogue Spear" though. Also SOF runs much better and faster. It seems SP1 actually fixed some things instead of breaking them like the usual SP from Microsoft smile

Same here. SP1 fixed my sticky key problems in AvP. I would have kept SP1 around but it did a horrible number on my CS so I had to uninstall it frown

Just take the dinput.dll out of SP1 and put it in 2000. smile
