Wondered whether the official Microsoft Windows2000 game patch (released a while ago i thought) was worth installing...

I play mainly Half-Life Counterstrike, and a few other new games... its not likely to mess up anything is it..?

actually the last compatibility update was supposed to screw up half-life, I didn't try it, but the supposed update did cause problems, and there was a fix on the site here. if you're not having problems now, I wouldn't touch the update

If all of your games are working now, then don't worry about it. Why fix something that isn't broken?
